Liverpool fans are beginning to get that familiar sinking feeling from the transfer window this summer, as the Reds continue to look toothless in the market. There is certainly plenty of work still to be done, but while Liverpool deserve credit for trying to bolster their attack with the likes of Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, there are warning signs growing over the defence.Centre-back is a clear problem area which remains in need of addressing, but the issue of right-back arguably needs even more urgent attention, with journalist James Pearce now confirming that first-choice Conor Bradley may not be back in action until November. Conor Bradley will miss MONTHS of the season… Who should Liverpool sign to replace him?

When they all return, two are going to be left kicking their heels. However, it was made clear upon Frimpong’s signing that he was being seen as a versatile option on the right rather than an out-and-out full-back, and given Liverpool’s shortage in forward areas right now, he could still get plenty of time in the front line.It has already been proven time after time that the Reds may need to fall back on a third option at right-back anyway, so the Reds should not be shy to go out and look for another.
